Visa requirements for the permanent workers

Permanent workers are skilled workers and will go through the Express Entry system. There are  three types of immigration programs like the Federal Skilled Worker, Federal Skilled Trades and the  Canadian Experience Class.

If you plan to live in Quebec, you shall go through the Quebec selected skilled workers program.

Self-employment visas

To obtain a self-employment visa, you should have relevant experience in artistic or athletic  activities. You should also be able to make a significant contribution to the cultural and sporting life  in Canada.

Eligibility requirements:
 Proof of having at least 100,000 CAD in your assets and proof of sufficient funds to support  your family
 Should have at least 2 years of self-employment experience or participated in any athletic or cultural activities at world-class level
 Biometrics
 Police certificate
 Medical examination

You will also be assessed on your education, experience, adaptability, age and language skills. Make  sure that you have checked and submitted all the required forms for easy processing.
